13.06.05Carl is backAt the official website you'll find a letter with comment's from Carl. He is back after about a six-month's absence and has told us that he will do a minimal amount of work on the website.Carl worked with Peter Maffay and has been having some sessions with friends including Eric Burdon, besides song writing, he is spending most of his time working for The Route. Working in Los Angeles with Eric Burdon on his new album at Johnny Lee Schell's studio was a blast (says Carl). It was a great honor for him to play with great musicians, like Tony Braunagel, Mike Finnigan, Reggie McBride, Jim Keltner, Johnny Lee Schell and Hutch Hutchinson. Sure they'll make a new album and tour with the Songdogs, no doubt about it but first things first. He is in such pleasant anticipation to produce the album for The Route with all these amazing musicians and be actually on this wonderful ship for a few months. Also Carl got the Adolf Grimme-TV-Award and the Hans Klein-Media-Award for his soundtrack of Once upon a time in the GDR (Damals in der DDR-Looks Productions). Our congratulations for this! |
